Mathew Tartza (teacher), helden tenor, is an experienced Opera and Oratorio and music teacher in Central and Northern New Jersey. This is a voice which bears watching as it has begun to move into full “heldentenor” overtones. Mr. Tartza just sang his first Pollione in Norma with New Jersey Opera Theater. In 2025 he will cover Manrico in Il Trovatore with Boheme Opera NJ. A graduate of Kean University with a degree in Music Performance, he also sang Don Remendado in Carmen in 2024, King Kaspar in Amahl & The Night Visitors in 2023, both with Boheme Opera NJ. Mr. Tartza also sang Monostatos in The Magic Flute, with Opera 691, Alfred in Die Fledermaus with Light Opera of New Jersey, Beadle Bamford in Sweeney Todd with Eccentric Theater Company, and was the tenor soloist in Mozart’s Requiem with the West Side Oratorio Choir, among others.
Kevin Patrick (teacher), baritone, is taking the world of Opera by storm with his powerful, steely Baritone. Having just sung the role of Flora’s Servant/Marquise d’Obigny (cover) in La Traviata with Opera Delaware, Mr. Patrick is in demand with upcoming engagements as the cover of Count di Luna in Il Trovatore in 2025 with Boheme Opera NJ, having just sung Zuniga in Carmen with the company in 2024 as well as debuting as Father in Hansel and Gretel and singing King Melchior in Amahl & The Night Visitors in 2023. Other highlights include Leporello in Don Giovanni with Wilmington Concert Opera, and Escamillo in Carmen with the Delaware Valley Opera Company. Kevin made his Off-Broadway debut singing various roles in Dorian Gray: The Musical. He resides in Philadelphia where he maintains an active voice studio: teaching THE BOLSHOI METHOD to students of various ages and abilities!
Maya Watters, soprano, currently, pursuing a vocal performance degree at The Eastman School of Music, where she studies with Kiera Duffy, dazzles audiences with her bright, clear-as-a-bell tone and magnetic stage presence. In Summer of 2024, Maya was accepted to the Lieder Program of the American Institute of Musical Studies (AIMS) in Graz, Austria. Having studied at THE BOLSHOI STUDIO since age 9, Maya has worked not only with Alison Bolshoi, but also esteemed vocal coaches such as Nicolò Sbuelz, William Hobbs and Mark Cogley, who were all impressed with her gift for languages. After dabbling in Musical Theatre, Maya has now found her passion in operatic repertoire and art song. This is an artist to keep an eye on!

Bethann Dilione, dramatic soprano, is a versatile musician with a broad range of experience in many genres from opera to sacred music to musical theater and jazz. Onstage, Bethann has performed as Berta in Rossini’ Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Nedda in I Pagliacci, Antonia in Tales of Hoffman, and Mother Jeanne in Dialogues of the Carmelites with Delaware Valley Opera Company; last year, she debuted with Penn Square Opera as Mrs. Gobineau in their production of The Medium. While earning her degree in vocal performance from Kutztown University, Bethann performed solos with the University Choir and Orchestra as well as the Jazz Band. After graduation, she relocated to Pittsburgh, PA, where she sang with many prestigious organizations both as a soloist and chorister, including the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, the Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh Opera and more. Bethann studies voice with Alison Bolshoi and lives in Upper Darby.
Gabrielle McCarren, mezzo-soprano, is a musical theater aficionado who has performed multiple times now at the prestigious 54 Below Cabaret in NYC. She has also performed in several Off-Broadway shows as a featured artist. She graduated with a BFA in Musical Theater (University of the arts ‘2022). Ms. McCarren is a former student of Drew Gasparini, Elizabeth Southard Mao, Nicole Van Giesen. Possessing a large repertoire, she is able to move between opera, musical theater, and pop/rock effortlessly. She has previously been featured on stage as Janelle (Don’t Stop Me- com. Dave Malloy), Veronica (Heathers), Jo March (Little Women), Carrie (Carrie), and has originated the role of Ember (Catching Fireflies). Ms. McCarren has also begun to record the music of young composers and she adores interpreting new work. She is highly versatile, working as a performance artist as well as writing her own music and plays.
Brittany Morgan, mezzo-soprano, is a versatile and expressive performer based in Southern New Jersey. Known for her warm tone and dynamic stage presence, she has performed a wide range of roles—from mezzo signatures such as Carmen (Carmen), Rosina (Il barbiere di Siviglia), Nicklausse (Les Contes d’Hoffmann), Sesto (La clemenza di Tito), and Cherubino (Le nozze di Figaro) to standout appearances as Musetta in La Bohème and Zerlina in Don Giovanni. As a concert soloist, Ms. Morgan has appeared in Handel’s Messiah, Rossini’s Stabat Mater, and Mozart’s Requiem. She has also performed with large ensembles in works ranging from Monteverdi’s Gloria at Carnegie Hall to The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses at Philadelphia’s Verizon Hall and Mann Center. In addition to maintaining an active performing schedule, Brittany is a dedicated music educator and classroom teacher, passionate about cultivating musical growth in young learners.
Andie Baldwin, mezzo-soprano, is an exciting young singer/songwriter from Blairstown, NJ. Andie began playing piano at age three, studying vocal technique, and performing at age 12. She has a smoky, blues-y style and a fantastic belt. Currently completely her degree at Montclair State University, Andie regularly plays gigs at Crystal Springs Resort in Hamburg, NJ, and Lake Mohawk Country Club in Sparta, NJ. Andie joined THE BOLSHOI STUDIO roster in 2022 and is strengthening her voice for the long and arduous one-woman shows she performs locally! This is an artist who we believe will be a world-wide sensation in hopefully a very short time! Andie is also a recording artist working on new singles and an upcoming album of all original works.
Ariana Nicolette Rodi,
mezzo soprano, received her Bachelor of Music Performance from Susquehanna University in May 2024. Ariana has been featured on stage as Columbine in Fete Galante by Ethyl Smyth, Helene in There and Back by Paul Hindemith and “Daughter” in Pirates of Penzance by Gilbert and Sullivan. Most recently she was in the chorus of Il Trovatore with Boheme Opera NJ, and appeared as a Voice Intensive Artist with Orvieto Musica the past 3 summers. Ariana will also perform the role of “Echo” in Ariadne auf Naxos this summer at the Chicago Summer Opera Festival. In New Jersey, you can find Ariana regularly teaching music of all ages at St. Ann School and Mill Pond Music Academy as well as performing in various recitals, church services, and operas.
Kate DiFonzo (teacher) mezzo-soprano, is an experienced Cabaret singer with a bright, sexy voice and style to match. She’s a member of The Soundscape Singers Cabaret troupe, which was brainstormed in THE BOLSHOI STUDIO. Soundscape Singers has performed throughout the tri-State area at numerous venues including the Morristown Performing Arts Center and Don’t Tell Mama in NYC. She has taken part in numerous live performances, including regional theater cabaret shows, recently through The Studio Players in Montclair, New Jersey. Kate is currently a vocal music teacher and Musical Theater director in Elizabeth, New Jersey. She has musically directed shows at both the middle school and high school levels. Kate has taught private vocal lessons for many years first at The Academy of Performing Arts in Nutley, New Jersey and currently through THE BOLSHOI STUDIO.
Erin Pach (teacher) soprano, is a founding member of The Soundscape Singers Cabaret, a troupe that was birthed in THE BOLSHOI STUDIO. Erin is a Renaissance-singer and performs Musical Theatre, Cabaret, Operetta, Blues and Pop. With a quick wit, sexy and a natural comedienne, she has a wonderful ability to cross from a full belt to head voice and back again with no discernible break; a perfect column. Her connection to the text displays an exquisite vulnerability at times. In addition, Erin has played the Leading Player and Roller Rita in The Musical of Musicals: The Musical with Nutley Little Theater, and Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, Lieutenant Genevieve Marshall and Glory Baker in South Pacific, and Rifka in Fiddler On The Roof with Theatre League of Clifton, among others.
Jane Baduini, mezzo-soprano, has been studying voice since she was 15. She holds a BA in Theatre from Montclair State University and has studied at the Stella Adler School of Acting. With a passion for musical theatre, Jane has performed in various productions and cabarets in the greater New York area. Some of her favorite roles include Morticia in The Addams Family, Sally in Follies, Sandra in Big Fish, and Olive in 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Jane joined THE BOLSHOI STUDIO in 2022 and has been flourishing with this new technique. She will perform with the studio Cabaret in June 2023 at Rutherfurd Hall in Hackettstown, New Jersey in a new concert series being birthed this year. Love always to her family and friends for their endless support.
From ages 8-12, K’Lynne Jackman thrilled theatergoers when she played the role of Young Nala in Broadway’s Tony Award-winning musical The Lion King. K’Lynn is honored to be recognized as the longest running Young Nala on Broadway! K’Lynn was also in the national tour of A Christmas Story and several other NYC-area plays and musicals. She appeared at the late Whitney Houston’s first annual Tribute Celebration, and with Vivian Green. K’Lynn has also opened up for top names in the Gospel and R&B genres, such as Aretha Franklin, Bishop TD Jakes, Donna McClurkin, Hezekiah Walker, Cee Cee Houston, Norful, John P. Kee, and more.
Kara Silvestri, mezzo-soprano, Indie Pop Artist, songwriter and guitarist, embraces a stylistic fusion of Electro Pop, Pop Punk, Rock and Folk. Her expressive intention to create toe-tapping melodies through meaningful storytelling enrich her creative palette of opportunities. She strives to create music that’s both vibrant and healing for emotional and cultural empowerment. Most recently, Kara is compiling a collection of her original songs into a debut album which encompasses themes of acceptance, empowerment, heartbreak, belonging, and having faith in the face of fear. Her intimate storytelling and sensory writing in combination with intricate guitar arrangements, soulful vocal inflections, and full-band layers, make for a powerful yet honest delivery. In recent months, she also joined a pop punk band as their lead singer and is expecting to play gigs in the coming year.
